Explore Our Past Seasons

Over the past decade and more, Flipside has been bringing classical music to real life. We’ve shone a light on underrepresented works, explored traditional repertoire in new ways, and premiered brand new music — to push the boundaries of traditional classical song and opera.

Revisit the unforgettable experiences we’ve shared with our community, leaving a lasting impact on the opera scene in Manitoba.

Winter Words

We embraced “Winterpeg” in this cozy afternoon of snacks, songs, and sunset over the Assiniboine. This performance featured soprano Judith Oatway, cellist Leanne Zacharias, pianist Lisa Rumpel, and local chamber choir legends Proximus 5 in a concert of music exploring the winter season in all its moods – from brutal winds and desolate landscapes, to warm embraces and sparkling sunlight on snow.
