Bring Your Voice to the Brewery Stage
Take centre stage at Opera by the Pint—a unique fusion of operatic artistry and casual ambiance at Little Brown Jug Brewing Co.
Whether you’re an emerging talent or a seasoned performer, this is your chance to share your favourite solos and ensembles in an unrehearsed, creatively free environment. On this stage, you’ll connect with an audience that’s as enthusiastic about opera and art song as they are about their pints.
There are four performance dates this season. Submit your entry for one or more dates. We’ll get back to you with next steps!

All events are from 7:00 – 8:30pm at Little Brown Jug, 336 William Ave., Winnipeg.
Accessible location. On the patio, weather permitting.
ABOUT OPERA BY THE PINT
Since 2018, Flipside and Little Brown Jug Brewing Company have been serving up Opera by the Pint in Winnipeg’s Exchange District!
Emerging and established artists share their favourite solos and ensembles, unrehearsed and with ultimate creative freedom. Artistic Director Judith Oatway guides you through operatic plot mazes with ease, and pianist Deena Grier supports our singers with masterful strokes..
Admission is free, with the option of supporting our artists with cash, e-transfer or PayPal.
LBJ has an array of beers, ciders, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages to please every palate. Kids are welcome and applause and “Winnipeg Wooo”s are encouraged!
